Canadian Family Pharmacy – Hacked Client Emails—Beware!

Canadian Family Pharmacy websites are accessible on the web, and you can include them to the increasing number of web pharmacies containing the name “Canada” on their store names. Canadian Family Pharmacy is not a single website—it is actually composed of a group of web pharmacies which have the same Canadian Family Pharmacy name but have different web addresses.

The purpose of these store networks is to promote a single company and gather orders from the consumers. After gathering orders from the clients, the networks of online pharmacies divert the traffic to one processing unit, as the orders only come from one source, and not from each website. It is tricky dealing with these pharmacy networks, as you won’t know if you’re transacting with a legitimate site or a clone website from scamming people since it’s quite hard to tell the difference.

Canadian Family Pharmacy Reviews

To know more about the Canadian Family Pharmacy network, I tried searching the company’s reviews all over the web. To my surprise, instead of being given good remarks for its service, I only found complaints from its former clients.

One buyer complaint was aired on Complaints Board and was posted on April 2011 by the user “Dsrice”. According to the client, he never received his order from the store and he complained using the website’s messaging service since there was no phone number posted by the store. The buyer never got his order and also never got a response from the store. He mentioned that the store is a scam site which buyers should avert at all costs.

No good mentions for Canadian Family Pharmacy and its service exist on the web, which makes it a highly volatile and doubtful company which should be avoided by consumers whenever online meds shopping.

Canadian Family Pharmacy Online

The store Canadian Family Pharmacy has several websites accessible via the web. I only found two working sites, though, since all the other Canadian Family Pharmacy named shops were shut down or unreachable for some reason.

The first online pharmacy I visited was Cfop.biz and indeed, the store was named Canadian Family Pharmacy. This shop provided its address—it claimed to be located in Ottawa, Canada, and also claimed to be incepted in the year 2003. However, the store did not directly state where its meds came from.

The product lineup from this store was extensive, but like the cliché product offerings of the common online drugstores, most of the meds were generic and the top products were also meds used for the management of erectile dysfunction. Other items available on this Canadian Family Pharmacy website were meds for pain relief, bacterial infections, cancer, pet medications, general health products, and various others. All the meds on this store may be bought even without providing the actual Rx orders—which is overtly illegal.

Instead of having a fully functional website, some of Canadianpharmacycorp’s segments are inaccessible. Although this site is still running, I couldn’t access any of the product categories posted on the shop. There were also no other options on the platform save for the “News” and “Contact Us” segments.

Both stores looked similar and had the same names, although it appears that the second site is nearly closing or is rather new due to the incomplete parts and the lack of products posted on the store.

Canadian Family Pharmacy Coupon Codes

Only one of the two websites was able to offer discounts for the consumers, well, primarily because the other shop was non-functional.

As you can see in the image above, the Canadian Family Pharmacy website offered free pills for all its consumers, regardless of purchase amount. Also, the store appears to offer a 10% discount on the purchases of the generic Viagra items on the website.

Apart from the free pills and the 10% discount, the Canadian Family Pharmacy store is also offering free regular airmail shipping for orders more than $150, free express courier shipping for orders more than $300, and free insurance for guaranteed deliveries for orders more than $200.

Canadian Family Pharmacy Numbers

Both the stores with the Canadian Family Pharmacy name shared their contact information for their consumers. The phone numbers for the two internet shops were not identical, but the store offered the same office address for their consumers:

Consumers can contact both Canadian Family Pharmacy stores using the details provided, although I am not sure if these are still functional, based on the complaints aired by the consumers.

Canadian Family Pharmacy Spam

Canadian Family Pharmacy websites are included in the roster of not recommended websites published by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy. There are several websites uniformly named as Canadian Family Pharmacy and all of them were listed as non-compliant stores by the standards of NABP.

The two functional websites (Canadianfamilypharmacycorp.com and Cfop.biz), though, were not included in the list of sites to avoid from the NABP.

Besides being listed as unapproved or not recommended pharmacies, Canadian Family Pharmacy also received a complaint from another client (Melissa Weeks) who stated that the pharmacy hacked her daughter’s email and used the address to advertise the website.
