I decided to check a few online pharmacies, such as UK-Med.com. There are two reasons why people turn towards buying generic erectile dysfunction medicines online: they cost considerably cheaper online than the prescription based meds sold at the local pharmacy. You don’t need to get a prescription from the doctor in most cases.
I discovered the following aspects about UK-Med:
UK Med proclaims itself as One of the Best Drug Stores” but doesn’t reveal where it is based. If I am to believe that it’s UK based according to the business name then the language used on the site, especially in the ‘About Us’ section, is pretty juvenile: “We are aimed at,” “We value every our customer.” Though the pharmacy carries medicines for diabetes, anti-smoking, depression, muscle relaxants, heart disease, erectile dysfunction is the dominant category, featured in Best Sellers, Special Offer Categories as well.
As far as pricing for ED meds is concerned: Viagra per pill costs $3.8 and $38 per 10 pills. Cialis is considerably costlier than Viagra and costs $3.72 per pill and $37.24 per 10 pills. Levitra is the most high-priced med and costs $4.24 per pill and $42.41 per 10 pills. Trial packs carry a combination of any two meds out of the three and offer substantial savings to buyers.
The pharmacy claims that all the products listed on its web page have FDA approval. In fact, it goes as far as claiming that most companies manufacture both brand name products, as well as their generic version and 50% of generics, are from brand name manufacturers, yet the pharmacy cites no legitimate source to substantiate this claim.
The next thing I wanted to check was payment options. The pharmacy lists credit cards as the sole payment options, i.e., Visa and Master Card. As for the shipping methods, there are two: Airmail (2-3 weeks delivery time) and EMS (3-8 business days). Shipping costs are not listed upfront, which is a downside in my view.
You can contact the customer care department at this pharmacy by calling the following numbers:
US: + 1 760 284 3222EU: + 4420 3286 3820
The other way is to contact via email through the site’s form. However, when I tried to submit a query, an error was generated regarding my email address being invalid despite my attempt to try submitting two different valid email addresses. So it seems that the site’s functionality is impaired in some aspects.
The online pharmacy doesn’t refund the order amount if the customer is unsatisfied with his purchase for some case. According to it, “It is prohibited to return medicament according to International rules.” But if the order has been shipped to a wrong address due to pharmacy’s mistake or the shipped goods are damaged, then the pharmacy would reship the order.
An Italy based customer, Jackson, apologizes for assuming the pharmacy to be a scammer instead of suspecting the slow mail system when he encountered delay in the shipment of his meds. He ended up receiving double dose of meds as a result of his complaint to the customer care department and wanted to know how he could rectify the situation. Meanwhile, Samuel from Spain vouches that the generic Cialis he ordered worked well and he is happy with the medicine’s results as well as the customer care service. Jonathan from France is happy that he has been able to save a lot by ordering online as compared to ordering from his local pharmacy.
Since these customer reviews are found only on the seller’s own site and not on any independent pharmacy reviewing sites, I had strong reasons to suspect that they were fake. Moreover, many internal pages of the site are linked with urls containing the phrases Men’s help and not with the site’s own pages. The same reviews were found on another site called Sky Pharmacy, so both the online pharmacies are clones and thus are fake.
Since I suspected a scam ring to be at function here, so I decided to head over to Scam Advisor to check what it had to say about UK Med.
UK Med Reviews 2016:
Scam Advisor thinks that UK-Med.com only appears to be UK based, but is actually from the Russian Federation. UK Meds and Sky Pharmacy are clones of one another and there is nothing genuine about them or their products.
UK-Med.com Coupon Codes:
Online pharmacies offer discount coupons, so as to help customers save money. UK-Med.com claims to help you save as much as 75% on meds in comparison to your local pharmacy’s prices. It offers 10 Viagra pills with each order and free shipping on orders above $200, which are ploys to make customers spend even more in reality.
