Have you ever encountered websites which look alike but have different domain names? I have, and they do exist—websites with the same appearance but have varying domain names belong to one “pharmacy network”. Pharmacy networks are a group of online web pharmacies operating for one company—the web pharmacies can look the same, but in some cases, they don’t, but they have the same store names.
The purpose of the pharmacy networks is to produce websites which can catch web traffic and encourage consumers to order. Online pharmacies belonging to one pharmacy network (called website marketing affiliates) merely redirect the consumers to one main company—think of these affiliates as “arms” or “nets” which aid the primary pharmacy in obtaining clients online.
We’ll be discussing another pharmacy network today, “US Pharmacy”. The US Pharmacy network is rather extensive, although most of the US Pharmacy websites were already shut down by the NABP (National Association of Boards of Pharmacy), an independent association vigilant in dealing with unapproved and illicitly operating web pharmacies. Only two sites with the US Pharmacy network are visible on the web—there may be more, but during my search, only two stores surfaced.
US Pharmacy Reviews
Scanty reviews are present for websites linked with the “US Pharmacy” website network. There was one third-party testimonial from a client posting on BBB, a business review site, and another testimonial from a client posting on one US Pharmacy drugstore.
I found the post above on one US Pharmacy store (Myuspharmacy.com) and the buyer (Roy from Murfreesboro TN), cited that US Pharmacy is the “greatest find”, as the shop rendered him excellent service and even gave him free prescriptions. Besides this review from Roy, there are no other comments on Myuspharmacy.com, as the store did not have a designated place for consumer reviews—this comment from Roy is an isolated testimonial.
A 2015 feedback posted on BBB.org, a business-slash-review website, from a consumer named “Kathy G.” indicated a good service for US Pharmacy. According to her, US Pharmacy also served her with genuine concern and that she considers using the shop “for life”. The actual website was not indicated, though—the mention was only for a “US Pharmacy”.
US Pharmacy Online
Of all the US Pharmacy sites, I was able to find only two existing websites for the store, Theuspharmacy.com, and Myuspharmacy.com:
Unlike the regular pharmacy networks, Theusphamacy.com and Myuspharmacy.com, two of the online sites with the US Pharmacy name, had different appearances. Uspharmacy.com states that it has been operating in Fort Worth since 1989 and is indeed an actual drugstore located in Fort Worth (US).
Myuspharmacy.com, another site with the “US Pharmacy” name, on the other hand, states that it is also a locally operating pharmacy and drug test center. No medicines are sold on Myuspharmacy, unlike the other US Pharmacy store which actually had stocks available for its consumers. The pharmacies mentioned above are not associated with a scandalous US Pharmacy phone-order network we are discussing today.
I found other US Pharmacy-named sites as well: Pharmcontrol.org, Popdrugs.org, US-onlinepharmacy.net, and Hotuspharmacy.com, although all of these websites are now unreachable, even with the use of proxy servers. It appears that these US Pharmacy sites are already shut down by the authorities or went out of business on their own terms. No news of these shops’ disappearances was available on the web.
US Pharmacy Coupon Codes
No coupon codes exist for any US Pharmacy on the web, and on the two functional US Pharmacy sites, only one had a hint for discounts:
According to Theuspharmacy.com, buyers can save up to $450 in cost when purchasing from the store, although it was not stated how consumers are able to save using the store. The US Pharmacy, Theuspharmacy.com suggested that buyers check back for future discounts.
US Pharmacy Phone Numbers
Existing phone numbers for the two US Pharmacy stores are the following:
US Pharmacy (Theuspharmacy.com):
US Pharmacy (Myuspharmacy.com):
+1 (615) 295 2301
It is notable that the phone numbers for the shops do not match, which is also unlike other web pharmacy networks which have the same mobile/landline numbers. As for the address, this is the available address for Myuspharmacy.com:
US Pharmacy, 440 St Andrews Dr
United States – TN37128-6531
Only one of the existing US Pharmacy websites had an available address detail, the other site did not offer its business address.
US Pharmacy Spam
Although US Pharmacy failed to have much positive acclaim from its users, I actually had no trouble finding spam complaints about the US Pharmacy shops, and most of them are recent grievances from infuriated clients:
Sunshine860, one of the consumers who posted their reviews on Complaints Board, stated that she’s been consistently getting unsolicited phone calls from US Pharmacy day and night, for over a year now. She’s complained about getting too many spam calls from this online store and even contemplated on giving government numbers to US Pharmacy so that at least someone would take initiative to shut this store down.
Another US Pharmacy complaint from Complaints Board, from Gwenjo, stated that the user is planning to file a formal suit against the company for harassment. Gwenjo protested about US Pharmacy’s incessant calls which forced her to block calls in order for her to “keep her job”.
Besides these two complaints, there is actually a long list of grievances for US Pharmacy stores, although the actual links to these stores were not given by the buyers.
